I live as a man does.
I support myself, do as I please, and take my pleasures where I will.
I make no apologies and explain myself to no one. Well, very few.

I once called Beware home, but that was long ago.
In the years since, I have traveled a bit. Mostly, I lived in Spain, working as a bodyguard for Moorish families while the Inquisition racked the land for "infidels." I learned to distrust fanatics of all stripes, to cherish books and knowledge, and to appreciate a scented bath.

My weapons of choice are sword, dagger and crossbow. simon holds my heart, and Oxe Mhorron my trust. Apart from them, I have little confidence in any but my horse. I enjoy people, but know too much of human nature to trust them far.

History to be gained through gaming, not taken from here: Following an attack by Dire, Enchantress wove mental wards to protect Xanthe from that kind of assault or persuasion. Psyonic attack will trigger the wards. This protection also inhibits her from receiving telepathic contact from others. She drinks from the Healing Pool almost exclusively, so her resistance to poisons and disease is high compared to most.
