There was a strange Captain that found maeve. He owned, a ship that I suspect after the fact, was more a living vessel than an actual ship. Maeve being a friend of mine I tagged along as she was in search of her Father~creator. We were searching for the one known as Proteus Unbound^@soi. A very interesting...person. Especially once you get inside him.

Reign came along as well as Mordjän, Black~Rose, Maeve La Dorcha and of course maeve. We did find Proteus after we battled through skeletal angels from the deep, water creatures that tried to capsize us, liches that seemed to be around every corner, and a powerful sorceress that was from his own world who was possibly an apprentice of Proteus' at one time. To say the journey was dangerous would be an understatement. There were creatures I had never seen before and never wish to again. We made it back all of us plus Proteus Unbound^@soi. Though we were in terrible shape by then. I think I slept for days straight after that trip.
