Once, when the realm of man was still new amidst the world of elves and dwarfs, orcs and goblins...He existed. This was his time, a war-torn battlefield with all sides fighting for control over portions of land at a time. His place was among the realm of man, in service under the first four kings of the old kingdoms of Antioch, Babylim: The City on the Boundary, Aerdy, and Ferrond. The realm of man vastly outnumbered and against stronger more efficient weapons was on a losing front of the war. Every foothold taken beyond the boundary was allowed to slip away from retreating troops and commands from the congregation of four leaders. His place was in the company of the Babylim soldiers, protecting the boundary from invaders. It was a never-ending battle as every race vying for control of the region eventually found their way to the Walls of Babylim. So many battles had been fought before them, that the soldiers began calling it the Wailing Wall of Babylim. It was here, before this very wall that the man once known as Silus Grissom was killed. He had fought valiantly against the dwarfs, succeeding in taking forty-three of their men with him to his grave. He would be remembered from this point as a valiant warrior, a man driven by the thirst for battle and the greed of victory.

Hundreds of years later, this man would return to a kingdom in shambles. Though not the same man as before. Perhaps it is best to start from his place in the After-life...the beginning of his tread across the Netherworld Bridge. This very place was the gateway into the nine planes, and it would be the starting point for him. It seemed like an eternity back then, the crossing of the bridge and his arrival into the Fifth plane, Stygia. The frozen wasteland. A plane of freezing layers of cold and ice dominated by murky oceans fed directly by the River Styx. The surface of the ice was covered with chilly marshes. The dark sky constantly filled with lightning storms, and the ice was lit by weird cold flames. Stygia was an icy tundra filled with Amnizu, Osyluths, and Cornugons that tore at his flesh, eating at his body. He fought these creatures back with everything he had, bare-handed and naked he tore through demon after demon. After thirty years of constant fighting within this realm, A figure appeared before him. Prince Levistus, unlike the others, Levistus appeared as an unnaturally tall, handsome male human. Aside from his completely black eyes, pointed teeth and his height, no features betrayed his infernal descent. Ruler of this particular plane of hell, He explained that he was impressed with his abilities in combat, his will to survive, to continue to fight. The demon further explained he had the power to restore his life...under one condition. He serve his will. The years he spent within Stygia, He spent in the frozen city of Tantlin. Levistus called upon him several times through the years, confident in his strength, even giving him armor and a blade to wield. One night, Levistus and Solomon ambushed Bensozia, Queen of the Nine and her pit fiend escorts. Bensozia was making routine inspections through the planes with Asmodeus' constable Martinet. Levistus plan was to use her to learn of Asmodeus', her master, weaknesses. The staunch queen refused harshly and passed him by. Infuriated, the Lord of the Fifth raped and killed her, Solomon was left to the care of the pit fiend escorts. Martinet however escaped back to the Nessus. Once Asmodeus learned of Levistus betrayal he imprisoned him in ice, and set the Arch-Devil, Geryon, as the new lord of Stygia.

Solomon, though loyal to the Prince, was now servant to Geryon, The human-faced snake-like Devil. He served him within the Fortress of Stygia known as Coldsteel. Like Levistus, Geryon took admiration in this particular human. He saw a warrior unable to be broken with many uses. The devil ordained him commander of eight companies of Narzugon, nightmare riding elite cavalry. His loyalties still with Levistus, all Solomon needed to do was bid his time...waiting for the day when he could break the prince free of his icy prison. In the nine planes, time passes much slower than that of the realms above, and after three-hundred years of service to two arch-devils, he still remained within Stygia. His deeds began to become well known within the halls of Coldsteel, even catching the attention of a Brachina named Malcanthet and Cozbinaer, an exquisitely beautiful she-devil with fair skin, long green hair and a body reddening from the waist down. She also had long black nails, a slim pointed tail she would hang over one arm, and vampire-like fangs for canine teeth. Her eyes were scarlet. Malcanthet, an incredibly beautiful human-like female with bat-wings, horns, and a long prehensile tail tipped with a spike-like stinger was the Queen of the Succubus. It was under Geryon's demands that Solomon deceived her. Solomon used his influence as well as that of Geryon's to manipulate Malcanthet during the Reckoning of Hell, a civil war. However the Arch-Devil never saw what happened behind shadowed curtains with his loyal follower Cozbinaer. The plan worked very well over the years leading to the Reckoning. Solomon manipulating Mal into allying with Geryon and Asmodeus, and while back within Coldsteel meeting Cozbinaer in silence.

Over the years, his relationships with Mal and Cozbi yielded three cambion and one alu-demon. Two male cambion and one female alu-demon from Malcanthet. One male cambion from Cozbinaer. Each one of these children would grow and establish their own histories in time. Acererak The Devourer and Kastya, the two males from Malcanthet would move on in different aspects of life. Acererak a powerful wizard who became a lich, and later a demilich and his brother Kastya, the Necromancer who sought to find Acererak and with his help overthrow The Greater God Vecna, and absorb his power. Lilith the only female of the group later grew to the power of Arch-fiend, and became the only known consort to the Lord of Dis, Dispater. The Child born from Cozbinaer was named Gargauth, and just as the others he devised his own plans. As his powers grew, he was exiled from the Nine Hells and sent to wander the planes. He embodies the inevitable decay and corruption that accompanies all self-serving, greedy, and power-hungry leaders and groups. His malevolence and cruelty are made all the worse by the veneer of civility and compassion he wears when first encountered. Since his exile, Gargauth has been studying ways to return, settling on a single idea. Heralding the imminent time when he shall seize Faerun as his unholy kingdom and transport it to Baator to form the Tenth Pit of Hell.

Their stories are not what we wish to know at present though, it is the story of a man whom climbed the ranks within the bowels of baator and became one of the stronger more powerful known figures in it's eternal illustrious history. The human commander of demon battalions. When the Civil War began each Arch-Devil picked a side and began fighting. The war was brutal, as demon fought against demon, fiend against fiend. It was amidst the Three Glooms of the Gray Wastes, in Oinos that the final battle in the Reckoning was fought. Solomon and his Narzugon, allied with Asmodeus and other Devils...against the remainder. It was a long battle, and yet at it's end He stood victorious. Afterwards, Solomon approached Asmodeus and kneeled. With his head bowed he spoke his last line of deception. Convincing the King of the Nine to send Geryon to the Avernus and acknowledge Prince Levistus as the true Ruler of Stygia. He agreed, though not without having his own agenda in the matter. He gave his daughter Glasya Geryon's power forcing the devil to exist as a Vestige without a true form. Asmodeus would still not release Levistus from his prison, allowing him to control it telepathically rather than physically. Solomon since returned to Stygia, and with the armies of the Prince under his command he located the dark floating iceberg above the frozen plane. It was here, as he stared into the thick ice where his lord was buried a quarter-mile beneath, that Levistus finally granted what he promised so long ago. Life. It was in this new life that he was to find a way to release him from his prison, and once more follow him against the Lord of the Nessus.

His return marked a turning point in the realm of man, as no longer a servant of kings..he became a lord among warriors. During this time he amassed large battalions of soldiers ranging from different kingdoms, and moving against the very lineage of kings whom at one time ruled with iron clad fists. The men whom followed him called him the God of War, a seemingly immortal figure with a vicious demeanor amidst battle. The sons of spawns of kings and those serving under them gave him a different name, Lord of Deceit. His push through the kingdoms did not send innocents to their deaths, these humans were let loose into the world. His only marks were those whom opposed him and the Kings who led them. One by one these kings and their armies fell to him, each kingdom burned to the ground in his wake....all save for one. Babylim, the kingdom on the boundary. He took this kingdom as his own, a fortress with which to keep an eye on the progress of the remaining world. Beyond this kingdom of solitude, he has managed to establish a cult in Levistus' name. He built a temple on a floating iceberg, and named the citadel Icerazor. Where he once controlled every aspect, he named a successor to the high seat. A fiendish harpy named Azediel, whom sacrifices fire-based good creatures to melt the prison of Levistus. Since then, one-hundred and seventy-three years have passed. The elven kingdoms stay to themselves, the dwarf kingdoms staying beneath the earth, the Orcs amidst the wilds, and the goblins....well....they take root where-ever they can. Much like man, whom since his domination of the old realm, has sprung up in various locations as different city-states...or kingdoms all their own. He still presides over Babylim, as Lord of the Boundary, waiting on word from the Prince of Stygia....waiting to see if he ever may free himself from his chilly prison of ice and stone.

A new age has risen, one where man and elf can call themselves allies against the threat of demons, vampires, and dark draconic blood. Although, he remains the neutral in what is evil and good, he has chosen to side with the Elves, and their able commander Kuaranthi Linath. Together, along with other allies they fight against the Der Nacht, and the forces of Dark Fire. The first of battlegrounds is the city of Aygmort, where currently the Enemy is sheilding themselves particularly well.

In a Strange occurance, the Teutone supposedly destroyed Gareth. Only for his ressurection to occur later through the centuries. A few along with Linath have chosen to leap through time to battle the threat once more. He himself remaining in ancient times to settle things for their arrival. During the centuries, Levistus along with several new faces amidst Stygia have risen to the material plane and established a foothold among men. Only time will tell what the outcome of this newest battle will be.

Weapons

Death's Requiem
This Bastard sword has been granted to Solomon from the Lord of Stygia. It has an edge unlike other mortal made weapons, and an unnaturally light weight accompanied by an almost unbreakable alloy glistening like ice in sunlight. The view of it is a jagged, switchblade fashioned blade. Accented by a Ram's skull set at the base with it's horns wrapping around a wooden and steel fashioned cross-guard.

Levistus' Lament
A long sword, spiked at the base and fashioined with the demon skull of Geryon. This sword was gifted to Solomon by the armies of Levistus, whom followed Geyron to Avernus and killed him and all of his followers. They brought his skull back, and fashioned the blade. Channeling the Arch-Devil's powers, the blade has the abilities of Soul-Kiss (flay the souls from the bodies of opponents) and Baleful Gaze.

Armor

Death's Embrace
A full plate armor. Like the Requiem, the armor is made of a strong alloy that glistens like ice amidst light. On each shoulder plate is a horned Lion's head, with a golden ring looping through it's mouth. Normally, when in battle upon the material plane, he adorns his body with another set of armor. A gray light steel that offers more free mobility

Spells

Control
The control spell is self-explanatory. When the spell is initiated, whatever Solomon's eyes lay upon can be controlled depending on the opponent's magic defense, or willpower. He generally uses the spell on dead, or wounded enemies forcing them to do his biding. While within the spells hold He has complete control over their actions, not their thoughts...like a puppet.

1,000 Eyes
Used in conjunction with the Control Spell. 1,000 eyes raises the amount of puppets he can control. While using 1,000 eyes he cannot move and uses a set amount of controlled enemies to guard his still form through the process. ((a die roll will determine how many puppets he achieves during the casting of the spell. In increments of 100...so, a 1 would be 100 while a 6 would be 600.))

The Haunting
Essentially a 'Raise Dead' spell. It has different reactions depending upon the area the spell is cast in. Although he can Raise bodies and banshees they do not differentiate friend from foe until he casts Control on them.

Shadow Puppets
Without much effort, he can create shadow clones of himself. Each one acting like an individual person with their own thought process and actions. Although they can attack, they are weak and are usually easily dispatched. Used mainly for spying, or to confuse an enemy. Currently he can conjure four at one time.
