Comp. Rifle: Called C.R. for short, it's a battle rifle modified to fold down into a compact -by comparison- sized unit for easy storage. Made of lightweight and durable materials the device can withstand powerful direct blows up to and including four hundred pounds of pressure depending on the type and where it's applied.
With three firing modes, automatic, burst, single, the weapon is complete with a 2X zoom. It can store up to four energy cells at a time.
With two modes of fire, it's capable of firing in either rifle mode or scatter shot. In scatter shot mode the range is greatly reduced at the exchange of high close ranger damage. The cells discharge faster while in scatter mode so it's use is limited.
Rifle mode comes with an option of overcharging the shots to increase range and damage, or cause a small burst upon impact.Such choice is a great drain on the cells limiting such to only two such shots per fully charged cells.
While in compact mode the device is no more then a foot across, half that top to bottom and two inches thick regardless of form.
because of the special ammunition used, this item has a standard recharge period for all cartridges of one week per.One cartridge holds enough charge for 100 regular rifle rounds.
