She came from another place to find the one who killed her father.
Instead.. she found the truth.

She found her past to be a lie. Her Father had kidnapped her, made her his own daughter and raised to hate the one who was her blood. Devin Katarn had thought his sister was dead and she had no idea the man she hated was her brother. One day she remembered what they tried so hard to make her forget, that was the day she and Devin found each other again. Returning to save his wife.. and to forever change the place that was their world. Once that was done.. they returned to this new land to start anew.

Finally free of her past she was set to find a future in this place, this new land. She was never a warrior, she could fight, hold her own on the battlefield. Here, in this strange land she found it.. difficult to adapt.

Then one day she met Him. M'Corbis D'Kalect. He was different then, a Vampire, and he used magic to hold her mind. She'd slip into a trance every time he came into the room; However, something happened in her heart that she was not prepared for. One day He lifted the magic from her mind, opening her up to see, to know what he had done. Expecting her to leave, expecting her to hate him he prepared for the worst, but she stayed. Knowing in her heart that even though she'd been in a trance that magic couldn't do what had happened. Magic couldn't make her fall in love with Him. And fall in love she did indeed.

Now, they are happy and married. They have a Daughter, Darica D'Kalect. Not a Daughter by blood, but a daughter none the less. How? Allyssa doesn't ask. Her love and trust for M'Corbis.. complete. They live in a Castle to the south of the Lands of Beware.

She has no magic, nor any powers. To move from the castle to the Lands in Beware M'Corbis has gifted her with an emerald wedding ring. this ring gives her the power of teleportation.

for now, she has found a life, and she will live it with those who mean the most to her. Her brother and His family, included.
