She stands 5'6" tall and weighs 125 lbs, with most of that being muscle. She is an expert at fighting with her long bowie knives, as well as her short bow that she can fire both on the ground or from the back of her beloved horse Night Wolf with unerring accuracy. She has also learned the ways of the use of elven fighting knives, taught to her by both Jason Whitefire of Valinor and her husband Fern, a Woodelf of Mirkwood.
But, first and foremost, Kio is a Shaman. She has been given the gift of healing and mysticism by The Earth Mother herself. Indeed all of the first born daughters in her family since time began have had this gift. All her ancestors are daughters of the Mother as is her own daughter Starlight. Kio also has been gifted with control over the elements. Earth, air, fire and water will respond to her call and bring forth either golems to that element or different forms that it may form into. She carries a shaman lance with her as well. The lance is tipped with a head of natural obsidian. Tied on with simple leather lace, just under the lance head is her power objects, Eagle feathers and an eagle claw, The teeth and claws of a bear and wolf, different power stones and other sacred objects lend their power to the lance. It can, when called upon, produce bolts of lightening or fire. She is a very spiritual person, meditating daily and givng thanks for everything she has and is. She presides over all the rituals to give thanks to the earth and supervises the healings that are performed in the #r-healing(healing tipi). Her latest vision quest too her deep into the mountains and while she was there she was visited by both Wolf and Eagle and given the power to transform herself into them at need
She is now married to Fern, a Night Elf in the service of Rauko, General of the armys of Princess Aria Celowėn. She met the handsome elf when he was assigned by Rauko to guard her and her village after she and her former husband, Devin Katarn parted ways after over 20 years together. They live in their small #r-thesham@bwr(village) in a protected valley beyond the Enchanted wood. In the camp lies their tipi, another that belongs to Kio's twenty five year old daughter, Starlight, her husband Nvya and her grandson, Winterhawk. Other tipis in the village belong to Sunfall, her dear friends friends Rauko, Shinara and their two children and Porphos. Now Kio and Fern have been blessed with a daughter, named MoonFeather. The child is a beautiful mixture of both her human mother and her woodelf father. Only time will tell who she will follow.....her healer/shaman mother or her ranger father
