FOR FIVE HUNDRED YEARS the Forest of Black Daggers at the heart of Taur-en-Eledhi lay uninhabited... avoided by the Northern Elves because of a tragedy that had occurred there, a kin-slaying that took the lives of an entire Clan. But then a song somehow reached the ears of V'soul in the Plane of Limbo... on the shore of Lake Sorrow he met the ghostly harper who played it... through the power of his servants the weavers, Echad Morn Sigil was restored.

There are few visitors to the treehouse in the great oak by the waterfall. The Limbo-magick by which the house was built radiates out from it, altering the forest paths, and there is no straight track to Morn Sigil save for those who have been guided there. The Elves of Morn Sigil have been altered by that magick as well, in ways both subtle and profound. Yet their hearts are still Elvish, and those who seek them in friendship will find a warm welcome.

Kharas Duathir

The Shadowlord of Morn Sigil: proud and courteous, stubborn and honorable, haunted by dark memories and, sometimes, darker impulses. His blade is pledged in uneasy fealty to V'soul, once his deadly foe, and he mourns the death of the Shadow Prince crYme who was his friend. The powers of Air and Shadow are his to wield; the dragon-mage ShadowStorm is his occasional mentor.

Elenbarathi
Known in the Realm as Elen Spirit Singer: a healer of great skill who draws upon both the elemental power of Water and the chaos-forces of Limbo. Under the tutelage of the weavers, her magickal knowledge continues to increase. She is the friend and counselor of Dresdan Queen of Noldoria, and foster-mother of her adopted infant son Ta'larn.

Kharas Crist-Erui

Duathir's soul-twin and First Sword: wielder of the Earth power. Empathically bonded to the forest, and especially to the immense snow-cat ~Cataclysm~, he speaks seldom, and does not easily use the Common Speech. The Drow Priestess Zhaunil is his love.

Thinnaluin

A human girl, adopted as Kinswoman by the Elves of Morn Sigil and given her Sindar name, which means "blue evening". Young, but wise beyond her mortal years, she claims to have no magick at all - yet she shares a bond with the golden dragon Chrysena, and other magickal beings also sense that there is "something about her"... something special.

Ta'larn

Adopted by Queen Dresdan when his own mother was unable to care for him, the violet-eyed half-human babe has been sent to fosterage at Morn Sigil, where he is loved by all.
