A scout in the Peace Keepers, Jason spends much of his time in the woods and forests of Beware..Trained to use a bow, he is a good shot with it, however, he is not so good with edged weapons such as swords and knives, although he does carry them.

The dagger he currently carries is enchanted so that when thrown, it will return to his hand at his command, even if someone else is holding it. It was a gift to him from his girlfriend Adrianna, a Ranger. She is often surprised by him as he has the uncanny ability to sneak up on her with no trouble at all, and he often does just for fun.

Although he has been in the Peace Keepers form any years, very few people actually know his first name.

When he needs to send messages back to base, he uses a Hawk that he has trained especially for the job that he calls Harris (it being a Harris Hawk and Jason not being very imaginative), and on the rare occasions he has to ride anywhere, he has his own horse called Lightning
