"Greetings to Y/you A/all, my name is illusssion and this is the story of my life thus far"

"i was born in the small village of Torrich, far, far from the land of Beware. i am one of three sisters, and two Brothers who i haven't seen in many years, i'm not even sure if they are still alive. my story is a bit sad, but it's time it was told. W/we lived in a small cottage, thatched roof, dirt floors, Y/you know the kind, quiet, few neighbors...~smiles~...a lonely place for a young girl. So one warm spring day, i packed a small bag, kissed my mother klariss and my Father Madigar good bye and set out to find myself and make it on my own. i had a hard time at first trying to find work, i slept in stables, begged the occasional Inkeeper for a room, for mopping and cleaning up behind the many people that lived happy lives, with family and friends...~sigh~...a few times i even had to just walk all night, to afraid, no, to proud to sell myself as many a Warrior, or cheating husband wished. No, not me, i'd of rather have sold my soul to the devil.

Well, it finally got to a point where i thought i may have to return home, knowing T/they would gladly take T/their oldest daughter back, i was hungry, dirty, feeling lost and afraid. But i was also determined, always one that disliked being proven wrong, so i continued searching, i'd bathe in the stream, wash my meager belongs the same way, hanging them on tree limbs and hiding in the woods until they dried. It was pretty terrible...taking a deep breath before continuing...Finally my luck changed, one day, as i was walking through one of the larger towns, it was getting colder now, and all i had to keep warm was a long blue cloak, i still have it to this very day...smiling as i pull it tightly around me, tapping the end of the quill to my chin as i think about what happened next...this town, was on the outskirts of Torrich, if Y/you've never heard of the place, its high in the mountains, it took me a very long time to get there, and cold! oh my yes. Oh darn, i'm getting off track aren't i...cute lil grin...well, as i was walking along, this pretty Lady, all dressed in the finest satins and lace saw me, She probably felt sorry i guess and called me over. She asked me lots of questions, which i answered honestly, She had the prettiest eyes, and they were kind and soft, i'll never forget Her, or Her Husband. She took me in and gave me a job, She had two little boys, the devils own...~laughing~...it was my job to take care of Them, take them on walks, help them clean up behind themselves...smiling as i remember...sometimes i thought They'd NEVER go to sleep at night.

After several months, the Lady of the Manor and i had gotten very close, although i still knew my place, and never tried to cross the line into "Their" world. They had invited guests over, They had hired more servants, decorated Their home festively, there was all the food O/one could possibly imagine and lots and lots of wine to drink, yes, it was a very special night. Especially for me. i was helping out in the kitchen, rushing around like a chicken without its head, when suddenly this tall, dark Man walked in. He was very handsome and i fell in love with Him at first sight. O/our eyes met, mine of skyblue, His of deep green, i could hardly breath, i was so taken. He asked why i was back here with the servants, telling me this was no place for one as fragile and pretty as i was...shaking my head and smiling...That Man sure had a way with words. He started coming by more and more frequently. He'd take me riding, and told me many stories about the battles He had fought. Oh, did i forget to tell Y/you? He was a great Warrior, noble and kind, a little rough around the edges...~giggle~...but that didn't matter, i'd have followed Him to the ends of the earth. It wasn't long before He took me away with Him, to a land i'd never seen. It was...~laughs~...IS a wonderous place, full of love and kindness, people and creatures like Y/you wouldn't believe. Ooooooh, i guess Y/you would, since those of Y/you reading this probably live here as well.

my life had finally turned into what i'd always imagined. i had a wonderful Man that took care of my every need, He protected and loved me, as i loved Him. One day, as W/we were walking in the springs, thats always been my favorite spot, its so beautiful there...~soft sigh~...He stopped, took my small hand in His, and in a low deep voice, He said, "illusssion, its time, I've been called back to My Homeland, into battle, in the Mountains of Ice and I must go". my heart almost stopped. i could hardly breath, i fought back the tears that threatened, and as calmly as i could, looked up into those green eyes and told Him i understood, and that i would be here waiting for Him when He returned...wiping my eyes as i go on...m'Lord never returned.

For months and months i would go to the springs, hoping against hope He'd show up, but He never did. Then one day, as i sat on the bank, tossing pebbles into the hot springs, a Man appeared, He scared me at first. He was without doubt a Warrior. He was very tall, had long auburn hair, bronzed skin, broad shoulders, lots of scars. i think those were what frightened me most, i'd never seen A/anyone with so many before. Yet...His eyes were soft and kind, and sparkled when He spoke. He assured me He meant no harm and for some strange reason, i knew He was speaking the truth. He walked closer, cleared His throat and He spoke quietly to me as His eyes met mine. He told me He had been in battle, in the Mountains of Ice. i'm sure i went ghostly pale when i heard those words, but He continued. He told me He had fought along side another brave Warrior, and had made Him a promise. These were His exact words, i will never forget them as long as i live..."This will not be easy, You see, We were in a fierce battle, the battle that proved to be the final one of the war. We were high upon a Dune of Ice and snow, Just He and I, fighting hand to hand with the minions...We had killed what We thought were all of them, when one snuck up behind Me, lifting his Axe to strike Me down. But your Lord was quick to the blade and ran the evil one through before he could fell Me. But when I turned around, He had this blank look in His eyes...and He fell, into the snow, a bronze shafted arrow protruding from His back." His voice became softer as He continued, His eyes never leaving mine..."The arrow was tipped with a poison, and He spoke to Me as I held His head out of the snow. He told me to find you. He told me where you were and how to get here, and what you looked like. And He told me to tell you, that you meant more to Him than anything He had ever posessed, and that He loved you more that anything He has ever loved in His life"...the Warrior lowered His eyes and His voice faltered... "and He died in My arms". i pulled myself up, leaning on Him for support, my biggest fear, my worst nightmare was now reality.

He took me home and told me He'd be staying in the village for awhile, if there was anything i need, He would be there for me. i mourned the death of my love for a long time, but i finally realized there was nothing more i could do...taking a deep breath and sighing...and once again, i began to start over. i stayed to myself most of the time, taking long walks and going to the village when i needed supplies. It was on one of these strolls, that i ran into the Warrior again. W/we sat and talked, and got along very well. He was so good to me, He helped me to see that this wasn't the end, that i was young and beautiful and that i had to go on with my life...~smiling~...W/we seemed to keep running into each O/other, and He began joining me on my walks, i became very attached to Him and looked forward to O/our meetings. Ah, whats wrong with me, i haven't even told Y/you His name...shaking my head in disbelief...His name was Adamus. The more i saw of Him, the more i knew...He stirred feelings in me that i hadn't felt in a very long time. Warm tingly sensations would race through me each time W/we met. Yes, He had stolen my heart.

W/we made love for the very first time, under the trees at the lake, from that moment on, i knew i would never want Another. Adamus gave me the most beautiful gold anklet Y/you've ever seen. it has a small heart shaped ruby that dangles from it, and i wear it always. As Y/you might have guessed by now, i look a bit different these days.

time Adamus proclaimed His love for me and i for Him one day as W/we walked along the River. These are His very words..."My heart has been yours since the first time I laid eyes upon you. That day in the springs. And I knew then that W/we were brought T/together for a reason. you have captured My very being, My illusssion. you have taken this hard, cold heart and taught it the way of love and caring. And for that I will never be able to repay you. And because you have My heart, there is something I would love to share with you."...i didn't know what to say or do, so i just sat quietly gazing into those dark eyes of His and listening to every word He said as He reached into His pouch that hung from His hip, and pull out a small delicate gold collar, its edges adorned with tiny blue sapphires. He held it out to me and i saw the letter "A" engraved in the golden metal, and He continued..."It would honor Me, My love, if you would wear this collar. I had it especially made for you. It will be a symbol of My love for you. And so T/those throughout the Realm will know that you are Mine, and that I will protect and love you until I breath My last, or until the time when you feel you can wear it no longer."...i started to cry, i could hardly speak, my voice was barely a whisper as i said to Him..."M'Lord...i love You so deeply...i would follow You to the ends of the earth just to be by Your side...i would be honored to wear Your collar, and i will never take it off...i love You Adamus, and yes, from the moment i layed eyes on You...from this day forth, i will stand by Your side, love You, take care of You when You're ill, tend to Your wounds, and sleep by Your side...always and forever M'Lord...always and forever"...

Well, i thought this might be the happy ending i always wanted, but it seems no, my fate has once again changed for the worse. Adamus has decided He is needed back in His homeland, and prefers i stay here, I have returned His collar so neither of U/us would be tied down As far as i know He is on His way and has left no message~speaking softly~...maybe it is best i am alone, i'll return to the home i once lived in before W/we met and for awhile think of things that were. Losing both Men i cherished in such a short time is just a bit to much for me to handle right now, so i'll return when i'm feeling better...so goodbye for now, and hopefully i'll see Y/you A/all again soon...i have taken back my old name ~soft smile~ and will carry it with pride and learn to protect myself...
