Currently Iledwyn is building a home in the Vanima Silmaturea near Castle Celowen.

Somehow he has become embroiled in a situation where some ghost wants to harm Princess Vanya Celowen. After being shot by the Princess while trying to protect her from Cormar Kildan, his boyish innocence has been all but stripped away after facing his own mortality. He is not sure why he is being used to hurt her, but wants to find a way to make it end. Not only for her sake, but his own. He has been made to realize seeking this Cormar out alone may only lead to making the Princess suffer and create more difficulty in ridding the kingdom of this menace.

Having been taken to the castle by Lord Vaer, he slipped away after several days to the solitude of the forest. While he puzzles out his place in the world, he has come to love this land and will stay as long as he is allowed.

Being a young man, and spending much time with Princess, he has become very infatuated with her. He never spent time around the village girls so this is a new experience to him. Oft times he is never sure if he loves her or sees her as a younger sister. It confuses him greatly as with most young men at this time in their life. He feels he is beneath her, a commoner of no means and limited skills, but knows that the friendship shown him by her is something he does not with to lose.

He feels a deep indebtedness to Lady Erianne and Lord Vaer for all they have done to help him.
