In times long past 3 gryphon eggs were found in a clearing, the gryphon that laid them was dead nearby with four arrows in her chest. A couple happened upon the eggs, warriors of the light they were. The eggs were taken and cared for until one day they hatched and the three young gryphon emerged. One in particular stood out from the rest as they grew. He was stronger, faster, smarter than his brother and sister.

The couple Kept this gryphon for themselves, the other two were given to other warriors of the village, who after time went their separate ways.

The warriors trained the gryphon, eventually naming him Garanexus for his speed and strength. He faught along side them until one day, the male of the couple know as James Tannly was killed. Sorrow filled the heart of the gryphon as his master was taken from him. Soon after the female Laura Tannly was also taken from him.

Alone now, those who had cared for him, trained and loved him gone. So he sets out on an adventure of his own. His path selected, though the destination is unsure.
