Twin-born of Jilliana Quasar and Exabar, Ember and her brother Styletto were a miracle from the beginning. Their mother was knifed in the castle while aiding a friend in trouble and if not for the help of a strong mage named Kinara, they would never have been.
Once grown, their father was enchanted by Maeve and drawn to fight her on her own turf. In so doing, she "let loose" a being within him that took over and defied everything our family stood for. Exabar soon left the realm, and Styletto followed to try and bring him home. Unfortunately, neither has been seen since.



The knot betwixt the twins now severed, the half-dragon walked the realm very alone in her kind. One day, she saw a post in The Great Book from one known as Griffon Drake. He, too, was trying to find his place as a half-dragon in the realm and on top of that, he was having family difficulties. Posting a reply that, should he ever need to talk, or if he wanted a friend that understood very clearly what he was experiencing, he could contact her.
Eventually, he did contact her via a chance meeting at Tobar. They became friends and, in time, had a secret wedding away from all the turmoil of both families. Unfortunately, both soon realized it was a mistake and so, the marriage was dissolved and they've gone their own separate ways.

Returning home to live with Jilly, Ember has been at odds as to what to do now with her life. She takes care of the horses and rides the warm thermals as time allows. More recently, she found another posting in The Great Book, this time from a close friend of her mothers named Seraxus. He sought a place to stay and a teacher in magic. Responding that he would be welcome at their home, she thought no more of it. Then one night, he did come while both she and Jilly were home. They talked and she left the two friends together to catch up, but she was entranced with what this dragon represented and how honorable and charming he was in his treatment of both she and her mother.

Seraxus returned this night and asked of Ember a favor, which she granted. Their cells fused briefly and each is now able to find the other no matter what. She is helping and caring for him for the next 3 days until the change is complete. A kiss was shared, but was it gratitude alone for the aid extended or something more? Only time will tell...

It has been a long while and Seraxus has not returned. Assuming that all is going well in his homeland, she turns her attentions back to her life with Jilly. On a trip to the castle one day, she and Flame met a man named Mike Corsella who was accompanied by a small female dragon named, Tara. Already with something in common, the two struck up a friendship and continued to meet from time to time...always followed and chaperoned by their dragon companions. They have been able to elude these "chaperones", but never for very long. Over the months, the dragons have become overly infatuated with each other...and so it seems, have Mike and Ember. Over Christmas, they exchanged gifts and told each other of their feelings finally. Ember has been able to show him her dragon side by a spell changing him into one as well. This has brought them even closer...especially when he commented that he might like to make it more permanent. She wants him to be certain this is what he truly wants. If he insists, they will find a way to make it so...together.

Long Dark Hair; Amber eyes that change to Gold and Reptilian when over-emotional (rage, desire, etc.) or threatened (in defense and beginning to shift); Tattoos: 1 on her forehead, and 2 intertwining over her body; Graceful, Athletic build, Quick, Agile, Compassionate, Kind and perhaps still a bit Naive about many things. She is 19 yrs old, half-dragon and magic-user. She has other skills right now that only 1 person knows of and she is happy with that sharing of knowledge. A small red dragon named Flame normally accompanies Ember. He is not a familiar, but a friend...one she has had since birth as a gift from her father.


UPDATE: Last evening, Ember Dragonheart and Mike Corsella were united in marriage. Not long after that, Ember gave birth to twins, Nick and Natalie Corsella. All are doing fantastic since Jessica Corsella intervened and brought Ember back. The birth of her son, Nick, was difficult but all is back as it should be, including the reappearance of Exabar, her father, in the realm.
