His past remains shouded in mystery, and not many have been able to get close enough to learn the dark secrets that weigh upon this quiet individual. Dias chooses to remain neutral in most things, always he walks the thin line between good and evil, though on some occasions he has been known to slip... Upon his arrival in beware, Dias was able to find a few individuals who helped him gain a better understanding of this strange land, the realm although large and forboding, made for interesting new grounds in which to test his skills and he gladly accepted these new challenges. Though his time in beware he has learned and done much, He worked as a bartender at the Tavern of Shadows. Thanks to the teachings of a fae friend, he learned to be a fletcher, and thanks to another, he dabbles in some magic. For a time he was made human by an interesting turn of events but was made kindred once again soon after. Though a dexterous, skilled fighter, there's more to this man than just brawn. A keen intelligence and wits of a predator, make him more than a challenging foe. Dias is an elder kindred and possesses many powers, amoung them are superior strength, speed, and stamina. Others are heightened senses, power over shadows, friends with the animals of the wild, minor mental powers, and many of the abilities of vampires of legend. Also he was made immune to most poisons by a darkshadow experiment. ~Friends and Foes~ In his time here Dias has made a few enemies, and quite a few friends. Azariah Craulnober - Recently he has taken an interest in Azariah Craulnober daughter of a famous thief in Waterdeep...when they met in the castle, she sought to steal his dagger gifted to him by the Cheysuli, instead she stole his heart... *Exactly one year to the day of that fateful meeting in the castle they were married in a small chapel in the forests of Beware. Dias has never felt more happy and complete then when he is with her. She is his sun in his darkest moments. An ever vigilant guardian, he protects her with his life and would do anything for her.* ((Dias's Platinum Wedding ring has been enchanted by Riah, It allows from him to be out in the sun for 30 minutes after the sunrise or before the sunset. As much as he would love to use it to watch the Sun rise with her she insists it only be used in emergency if he is ever caught unprepared...)) Wolf Dance and Shadowwind - Two Garou that Dias has befriended through Riah, Dance being like a sister to Riah the two cannot help but get into trouble constantly. While Shadowwind or just Shades for short seems to be a voice of reason for all of them. Loraitha - Twin to Wolf Dance and also a Garou, A Black Spiral Dancer, Twisted and depraved at times, though recently was very helpful in the quest to the Far Realm to help Victor. Helena Everbreeze - The beautiful loremistress of Oghma, essential in the quest to Help Victor in the Far Plane and another voice of reason in troubled times, her knowledge far surpasses some of the wisest of sages. Victor Von Draganesti-Valsca - A troubled nobleman who Dias has yet to completely underestand, although he and Victor seem to carry more then their share of responsibility and duty. Dias joined the group that went to the Far Plane, a place of twisted nightmares and insanity, to help in Victor's personal quest. While there he was given a book of Dark Rituals Called "The Book of the Black Earth" which caused even their dear friend Loremistress Helena Everbreeze to be sickened. Dias is now the guardian of this evil tome and should anyone find it and take it from him, it could bring great danger to beware... Dreadnaught - In times past the huge Cleric and Dias fought against each other. When he was first attacked by the warrior of the light, he was left severely injured. The memory of the pain inflicted upon him stayed with him and when they next met the battle was a choatic standstill. Both men wounded and Dias walked away with his helm and shield as trophys,...Recently he sought the now Paladin's help, and with time perhaps their attitudes toward one another will change. *Turmoil between the two seems to have ceased, and in secret Dias asked Dreadnaught to preform the ceremony to marry Azariah and Dias. When the Paladin agreed to do the honors, Dias was admittedly a little surprised but thankful nonetheless. Battle will likely not be seen with the two against each other again. Perhaps it will be more likely that they fight together.* Shylock - The Cheysuli Warrioress Shylock remains a good friend to this day, Through her he was gifted with his Twin golden hilted daggers. One with a Bear(Indestructable)hilt, the other a Falcon(True Flight, never misses its target) Both almost always on his person tucked into the tops of his boots. Vorfinia - The Elven woman Vorfinia another good friend. Side by side have they fought against various enemies, he almost thinks of her as a sister, and in fact, she has allowed him to be honorary Uncle to her child. Teylynn Darkshadow - Once believed untrustworthy by her, pehaps for good reason, in any case he, perhaps foolishly, sought her friendship. weather or not it is earned remains to be seen. Delightful~Rose - A long time ago he met a woman whom upon spending some time with, and learning about her past, fell in love with and made her as is he. His only childe...But when she left him, he fell into a depression and his heart became as stone for the longest time. *Many people and events have had an impact on Dias in different ways. As a man, and as Kindred. He has become a better person, in his eyes anyway, feeling remorse for his past deeds and ways. Protecting those in need. As a Kindred he refrains from feeding for lengthy periods of time, whereas long ago he would partake nightly. Through force of will he pushes himself until he deems it neccessary and does his best to restrain the urges of the beast within. It is for these reasons that Dias turns to the Kindred legends of "Golconda" seeking the knowledge to transend the curse of Caine. .....But such a task is a difficult and perilous journey, Not only affecting his physical self but his mind and soul as well.....Through his efforts and help of good friends and his beloved wife, Azariah. He may yet succeed in time.....* No one holds command over me. No man. No God. No Elder. No Prince. What is a claim of age for ones who are immmortal?
