Son of a demon lord, stolen away by the demons that hunted his father and killed his mother, taken to the outter plane of Gehenna at the tender age of four. From day one, he was subjected to torture, was raped by both male and female demons by age ten. He was branded, tattooed and pierced by the demons that "owned" him. One particular mistress mistreated him so badly that he swore on his very soul that he would get his revenge. He was beaten, broken, his body and genitals mutilated. But he healed. He survived. And with help by others who were enthralled by this demoness, he learned. He was taught to fight, both with weapons and with his very hands, was taught basic magick and how to be a thief. And finally, around the age of fifteen, he exacted his revenge. He became a raging animal, feared by captors and the captive alike. It was at this time that a visitor from the outter plane of Pandemonium called Enothu dubbed this then nameless beast of a boy Shaugosha. The meaning behind this name is "Render of flesh, devourer of souls." Enothu taught Shaugosha how to hone pure chaos to aid in his destruction. All this for a price. One day, he would have to serve a sentense in Pandemonium. The price gladly paid, at least at this time. 500 yrs had passed in Gehenna until Khronos had found his son's whereabouts. The slowly aging wild child was stolen away from Gehenna and taken to Nessus, where the River Styx flowed at its strongest. His son, thrashing madly like the animal he had become, was bathed in its waters, his memory seemingly erased. It seems that Enothu had other plans. A insurance policy, Enothu had made it so that any tampering with the young Shaugosha's memory would result in it being locked away in a secret pocket, hidden away from even the strongest of Psions. And so the quelled beast was taken to the Prime Material Plane, his memory reconstructed in his father's stronghold, Midian, in the land of Beware. Dani was content in his existance. A mere teen, working as a servant to the demon lord. He was treated fairly by most, especially as he not only witness, but survived, the cleansing of Midian via hellfireball. It was under Khronos' orders that Dani not be killed. He cooked, he cleaned, he would be sent topside to the village to procure supplies. And soon he found his freedoms becoming greater. A timid boy, he had visited the realm above, had met some people, made friends and enemies. Even frightened people because he didn't look like others.. Tattoos, piercings but beyond that, his eyes. That strange, ghostly white, his eyes sensitive to light. He ventured out mainly after dark. A curious young man, much older than his appearance, who had found that his curiousity would be the death of him. In the center of the floor, in the Great Room of Midian, was a pit. Daniel had no idea what this pit was, why it was there or what it was used for, but he knew his ears didn't betray him when he heard voices from within it. One of five of Khronos' hellhounds ((now only two,but that is another story!)), Grendel, whom Dani became fond of, accidently sent him head first down into this pit. He had hit his head, hurt himself badly and there he lay at the bottom of this pit for a week. A week is about the longest a human being can live without food and water. Voices called to him. Because he was so very close to death, he could see apparitions in the pit, they would speak to him soothingly, yet the brightest and strongest one somehow prevented him from dying. He would have no peace. And it wasn't until a week that Khronos discovered where he had wandered off to and rescued him. It was there, on the floor in the Great Room of Midian, laying in the demon lord's arms, that he was finally granted peace. It was not to last. A sacrifice of body was made for Khronos, one that saw to the resurrection of his son, Daniel. Rumors ran rampant of why Khronos brought him back from the realm of death, but soon the truth was out. Khronos was his father. It horrified Dani, thus breaking his mind.. This was something he couldn't comprehend. All of his past....was a lie. But what was the truth? He was content thinking that he was the son of a priestest, his father a demon. He was born from rape and was stolen away by clerics and raised around religion. When he had finally had enough of the beatings and strict rules, he ran away. Lived off the land, learned to thieve and kill to survive. And that is where he had found Khronos and Midian. Healed by Velanna, aided by Suzanna Sinister, he had found the means of getting to Stygia to return his father back to Beware. Tricky part was, this Stygia was not from this realm, not even from this timeline..But both Lucifer and Levistus had taken interest in Dani, told him they would make a trade, him for his father. . But with wit and skill, Khronos, Daniel and Suzanna made it out of Stygia and back to Beware safely. There is much more to the story, but that is better left for another time! Dani soon learned that he was capable to doing things he couldn't do before. Perform some magick spells, lift some things he wouldn't normally be able to lift, and throw daggers with deadly accuracy. He was also playing the role as his father's keeper as he was made feral by the same waters that 'erased' Dani's memory. When he slept, he would dream, and those dreams became nightmares..Visions of his past were beginning to leak out from that pocket that Enothu had created. Before long, from the dreams and from journals found in his father's bedchamber, he reclaimed lost pieces of his past, thus breaking his mind even further. He became a hunter, a killer, sometimes killing in a panic, sometimes just for the sheer joy of killing. But the hunter was slowly becoming the hunted. Page 3
