aphreal was a child. A simple, sweet, loving child. As some may have noticed this child
had a few quirks. Often she could be seen romping around the castle in the form of a tiny
white kitten as often as her girl self. No one really knew where she came from, not even
aphreal herself.
She wondered into the castle one day in the form of a kitten and was
adopted by ~angel~, so she adopted ~angel~ in return as her mother. She grew to know
lilia skye, also an adopted daughter of ~angel~, and gave her the gift of shape change. She
knew only the joys, pains, and turmoil’s of an eternal childhood living in beware. She
thrived on being loved, and formed close bonds with many. Her guardian and protector
was Lucien Wolfe. She loved him greatly and was bereft when he was murdered at the
hands of the dark. Her memories of him bring her comfort and make her smile with the fun
he, The White Rag, and herself had. She formed a close bond with one named Snake,
when the two were close a golden joyful song sang through both minds. Another one
entered her circle and filled the emptiness left by Lucien Wolfe’s demise, Rune. His
shoelaces were a source of delightful play, and his shoulder the perfect perch for a small
kitten. When his end came her grief was great, she retreated deeply into her own mind,
leaving her body to wander in the form of a kitten.
Her return came at the hands of Faran,
who’s pain bade her return though she might have preferred to stay within herself. In the
eyes of this child laid endless possibilities, mysteries, and power. A startling crystalline
blue, they at once seemed sweetly innocent and very wise; yet always full of play. She had
made it her mission to rid the Castle Beware of feral catnip mice, suspicious saucers of
cream, dangerous shoelaces, and the dreaded rabid dust bunnies! And then the time came,
she knew it within herself, she had become very tired. She had seen countless summers of
joyous play, and numberless winters of content warmth; the time had come for she herself
to grow up. She told those who mattered most to her what was going to happen, that it
was time for her to sleep. She visited Lucien Wolfe’s grave one last time and left a bunch
of pretty wildflowers on his grave. She asked the aid of Tarrinn, whom gave her a spell to
keep her safe while she slept. Safe within her mothers cottage, she wove the dream state
around her and two stowaways. Tallieflower the fea refused to leave the aphreal she had
“claimed”, also a piece of living rag gifted by Mandaril chose to remain with her. Both
joined aphreal in her sleep without her knowledge. All became encased in pure white light,
sheathed by a marble pillar. Unaware of her passengers, aphreal fell deeply into her
slumber, the spell Tarrinn provided hid the pillar in plain sight. Now she has awaken. No
longer a child, her power has fully matured.
